AI for accounting practices
AI workflows for accounting practices
Accounting and tax work repeats: the same onboarding questions, the same memo structure, the same chasing of late items. We set up supervised workflows for that repeatable work, and your people keep the decisions and the sign-off.

The repetitive work an accounting practice carries
Tasks like these come back every week. They are good candidates for a tested workflow with a person checking the result.
New client onboarding
Collecting the same information and documents from each new client, and checking what is still missing.
Fee estimates
Turning a completed fee questionnaire into a draft estimate for the team to review.
First-draft advice memos
Preparing a first draft of a tax advice memo from meeting transcripts and notes, in the practice’s own format.
Chasing overdue work
Finding stale or overdue items across work boards, and separating work the team owes from work waiting on the client.
What we set up
A workspace for your business
Your context, your trusted sources and instructions for repeatable tasks, organised in one place your team can edit.
Starter workflows
Two agreed workflows to begin with, such as a client onboarding check and a draft fee estimate from a questionnaire.
Self-guided lessons
Practical lessons inside the workspace, so your team can practise on real tasks, check the output and learn when to ask for help.
Human approval
Each workflow has a named person who checks the result before anything is sent or acted on.
Where we’ve done this
Client example · Accounting and tax practice
A supervised workspace: read, draft, then a person decides
An accounting and tax practice asked us to build a shared workspace around its onboarding, accounting, tax and client communication work. The first slice was deliberately supervised. Onboarding runs as a draft, check and report workflow, the workflows only read records or prepare drafts, and a client’s status moves only with the evidence behind it.
The workspace includes a draft fee estimate from a questionnaire, a first-draft tax advice memo and a weekly report of overdue work. Nothing reaches a client without the tax team’s checks and the responsible principal’s sign-off, and the overdue report only reads the boards it covers.
The home page also shows an intake questionnaire and a read-only work dashboard from accounting practice engagements.
This describes what was built, not measured results.

How it works
A defined scope makes the result easier to assess and the handover easier to run.
- Map. Choose the workflow, authoritative inputs, responsible people and desired outcome.
- Define. Agree systems, access, approval points, exclusions and acceptance criteria.
- Build & check. Tailor the workspace and test normal work, missing information and the agreed failure cases.
- Hand over & adopt. Give a brief orientation, leave practical lessons and record acceptance. Adoption support stays within the agreed scope.
Setup options
Choose one option. Fees are confirmed after your discovery call, and your proposal confirms one total for the agreed package.
Foundation
Your first repository, set up and connected, with two agreed workflows operated by your team, practical lessons and a tested handover.
Connected
Four agreed workflows in total, connected to the supported systems, with input and output checks and approval steps.
Operations
Six agreed workflows in total, with scheduling, queues and human approvals where feasible. Feasibility is assessed first.
